An eventful week

We are finally settling in and we even got our Idaho Driver's Liscense and Idaho plates on the cars! It still doesn't seem real that we are not living in California, but we are having fun while "on vacation".

And Bailey made a new friend, Butterscotch. Bailey loves horses, so when my mom found this horse that acts like a real horse, she had to get it. While she got it for the grandkids, I think she really got it for herself... and yes, if you look closely Bailey has a chocolate mustache:)

This week I took Bailey to story and craft time at the local library on Monday and Thursday (they have it twice a week, how awesome!) She loved being around other little kids and had a lot of fun. There are so many family friendly and kid friendly activities to do in the area. This is her playing at an indoor playground, since it was pretty cold outside today.

I went to my first Dr appt. here and the doctor said that everything looks good, so it's just waiting time until the little guy comes in about a month.

And the big news.... It finally snowed this evening. I'm not sure if it will stick, but it is still fun. Trent wasn't as excited as we were, and is in a T shirt acting like it wasn't cold.

Here's Bailey all bundled and loving the snow falling all around!

Finally better

I have been sick nearly the whole time we have been in Idaho. I have been really miserable ...and am just now starting to feel better. Because of this, I really haven't gotten to enjoy or see much of anything in the area. We haven't been to church yet because I was feeling so bad, so I haven't met any ward members. We are now starting to see the sights, so far we have seen the Boise temple and have visited all the malls in the area, and driven to a few small towns nearby. The weather has been great...and those of you who think that it snows all the time in Idaho, you are thinking of Rexburg area, because we have yet to see it snow. It seems like a good mix of California and Utah. There are a lot of LDS people here, but not near as many as Utah. Here are a few pics of the few adventures we have been on since moving. As soon as we get things all organized and more boxes put away I will take pictures of the house.

Idahoans

We have now been in Idaho for about a week. We have been busy loading, unloading, packing and unpacking. Then Bailey happened to catch the flu which has spread to the rest of us...not too mention that I am pretty pregnant and due in a few months. Just before we left I had an appt and the doctor said that he thought the baby will come early, even to the point of wanting me to take a test and see if it was coming in the next few weeks. So, with all of this fun stuff going on, we haven't been able to enjoy ourselves too much. On a more positive note, it is really nice weather (not too cold or snowy) and the people we have met so far are really friendly. As soon as we settle in and start to feel better I will post some pics.

Goodbye!

Today was our last day in the Gettysburg Ward...well it was supposed to be. We forgot about the time change, as we were leaving the house around noon, a friend showed up asking where we were today...Man, church had ended and we didn't get to say goodbye to anyone. We totally spaced the new year and that church was 3 hours earlier. And...Trent was supposed to ask for help moving us and we didn't get that either. So, if you are free Tuesday morning (and we understand that most people are working) we could use a little extra help.

Hope to see a few of you on Tues morning around 9 o'clock.

For those of you who don't know, we are leaving sunny California and moving to Idaho. We will live with my parents for a bit until Trent finishes his schooling at Boise State (and hopefully be able to get all the classes he needs to graduate in a year or so.) We are looking forward to the new adventure, but sad to leave so many great friends and family.
