Happy Trick or Treating

Happy Halloween. This is the babies first year trick or treating so my parents came to lend some helping hands. They only went to a few of the neighbors houses, then headed home to bed. q Bailey and Nick had a few neighborhood kids that  they wanted to go with, so we all split up.

Our neighborhood is awesome for Trick or treating because there are so many retired people that love when kids come by. There aren't too many kids in the neighborhood, so the treats are pretty good.

The babies had an absolute blast running from door to door, while people put candy in their pumpkins.

Madison and Jackson waiting in grandpas car until it was time to go. They love sitting in grandpas car!

Bailey and her friend Erika

Still waiting for everyone to get ready to go, so Nick decided to scooter

And we are off.....Jackson heading out

Bailey and her friend Kylie ending the night together with full buckets

And a picture from Trunk or treat on Saturday with my mom.... She is one crazy lady!

Twin Farms Halloween land

Last night Trent took Bailey and Nick to Twin Farms for some fall fun. We thought it was a pumpkin patch, but it turned out to be a corn maze, hayride and tons of fun at a farm, but no pumpkin patch. The kids had an absolute blast anyways and didn't get home until after 10:30.

There was a bunny hill that you could go play on. It had tons of bunnies running around that you could hold and play with.

Sliding down the hay bales

...And a witch storyteller. They sat around a campfire while she told spooky stories.

It was fun for them to get out and have a little fun with dad before it gets too cold outside.

BSU game

For our Anniversary in August, Trent bought us Boise State football tickets. I know it's not the most romantic, but it is a BYU vs Boise State game, so I was excited. We also got extra tickets so our friends, the Belnaps, could come too.  Since it was over a month away, we had time to get a sitter and Trent was able to take the next day off work. The game started at 8pm, so we didn't get out of there until after midnight and home by 1am. Crazy night, but it was so much fun. Best date night in a long time, and a great 12th Anniversary gift.

After he bought our tickets, Trent thought that it would be fun to do a boys night with Nick at a BSU game. Nick had a great time and enjoyed the night, but he "mostly liked the food." Trent said that every half hour he wanted to go and get something else to try. The mini donuts were his favorite. I'm glad these two could have a special night together.

NICU Harvest Party

The hospital where the babies stayed when they were tiny has a NICU Harvest Party each year. All the babies who stayed in the NICU get to see the doctors and nurses who helped them. It ios si much fun for the whole family. They have a carnival, cookie decorating, crafts, a bunch of gifts they give away and treats.

This year the babies went as a lion and a leopard. Bailey was a cat and Nick wanted to be a ghostbuster.

Paint Night

The babies and kids can be a rough crowd to be around all the time. Crying, cleaning the house, diapers, making meals and laundry can wear even the strongest mom out. Therefore mommy needs a night out every once in awhile. My best friend, Ashleigh, had her mom and friend were in town and she invited me to go to a Paint Nite with them. It was so relaxing and so much fun. I had a great time and was able to refresh a little before taking on mommy duties again!

Busy Busy Babies

Since school has started, life has gotten a little crazy and busy. It is nice that the older kids are back in school and doing well, but homework, spelling tests, Bailey's gymnastics, and various other activities keep our evenings pretty busy. The days I just seem to run around after the babies cleaning up messes and splitting up fights (yep even at 1 year old they pulled each other's hair and push each other down) Jackson can now open doors, so we have to lock all the doors and try our best to keep them out of the bathrooms and pantry (their two favorite places to make the biggest messes).

Here are just a few pictures that I took over the last few weeks that are mostly of the twins

*Music time at the Library*

*crazy kiddos climbing all over mommy*

*getting ready for nap time*

*babysitting the neighbors dog*

* Bath time*
*shower time*
* Jackson being naughty and climbing on the table*

*playing in the sandbox and getting their pajamas all dirty*
