Jake and Belle and some Halloween festivities

October has sure gone by fast. The kids have been so excited for Halloween and it is almost here. This morning I had a few friends come over and have a pre Halloween party for the mommies.. and there were some amazing treats that they brought to share. Then tonight we went to a new mall in Meridian to see Brandy's pumpkin carving that she was doing for a kids night. We dressed up the kids and headed out to the kids night and do a little trunk or treating.

The many faces of Nick

Today we went down to the Boise river and had my brother Matt take family pictures for us. There are some great pictures, but I will show you what we were dealing with the whole time when we told Nick to smile...

Everybody say cheese....with your eyes open please Nick

By the end we all gave up !

A quick trip and a birthday

This last weekend we were able to make a quick trip to Utah to see Trent's sister Kristy that was visiting from England. We hadn't seen her in about 4 years and really wanted Bailey and Nick to meet their cousins.  At the last minute Trent was able to get a few days off work and we drove down.

It was nice to spend time with the Campbell family (Although our little trips seem to be very hectic and busy)

The evening we arrived, we went up the canyons and had a campfire and roasted marshmallows with the Campbell Family

Erika and her son Cameron just moved back to Utah and it was nice to see them too!

Trent's dad Gary and some grandkids

We managed to go to the park with grandpa and had fun playing with Lewis and Tessa

While I was there I turned 33. The only thing that I told Trent  I wanted was a birthday cake and a few hours shopping by myself at the outlets in Lehi...... The day came and went without cake or my few hours of shopping. I know...so sad...

But we did get to go to the Scera theater that evening and see Shrek the musical with the kids and Trent's parents which turned out to be a fun evening.

And when we got back, my lovely mom made sure that I had my birthday cake! My mom is the best and always makes me feel special! thanks mother, I love you!

And my good friend just dropped off a gift this morning and completely made my day (a coach purse!!! Yippy skippy!) ....I am really so blessed to have such great family and friends!
