The Mad Town Fair is here...and let me tell you, you're not missing much if you don't go or haven't been. The fair grounds have been cut in half due to a new shopping center. There was only one building with all the things people have entered but it was very crowded and not displayed very well. The people in Madera are pretty trashy so everywhere we went people were smoking, drinking or cussing. Basically the Madera Fair is one of the worst fairs ever. I guess since there is pretty much nothing else to do in Madera, people get excited to at least have somewhere to go without going to Fresno. If you want to visit a good fair, don't waste your time or money, but try the Mid State Fair in Paso Robles or the State Fair in Sacramento, they are much better. But, on a positive note, Bailey enjoyed all the lights and music and the weather was great.

It doesn't sound like a very fun fair. I usually like a good fair. The one here in Salt Lane has some nice things about it. I love to see the animals, and the handmade things. But I don't like all the booths that are trying to sell you stuff you don't need.
