House for sale

We decided to list the house for sale. We have gone back and forth so many times wondering if it was a good idea or not, but ultimately decided that it would be good for our family. We found a house in the town next to ours that would give us a little more sq ft and have a loft for the kids to play. It is also closer to Trent's work and would cut the 45 minute commute in half. So we listed the house ( I was a little sad) and within the week had a full price offer. We are set to close on May 1st and will start a new adventure.

When we first moved in, my aunt asked to post pictures to see the inside. By the time we were unpacked, the house was always a mess. Here are a few pictures of the rooms when they are semi clean...

Notice there are no pictures of the Master and Nick and Bailey's rooms? Thats because they are usually pretty cluttered with clothes. I will post them as we get them organized and clean.

unpacking

We finally got all our things moved in about a week ago and the whole house is one big mess of boxes. We wanted to redo the fireplace and cabinets and paint them white, so we took on that project and didnt realize how big it really was.

The fireplace was pretty before, but since the entire inside was painted grey, the honey colored wood clashed, so we decided to go with white.

This is the outside cabinets, but we are almost done with all the fronts and will put a completed picture up soon.

Trying to paint, along with moving, unpacking and trying to watch two crawling babies has been terribly difficult, but I think the hardest is over. Now just unpacking, getting up a Christmas Tree and trying to organize. Hopefully things will get easier soon! But, I think I'm starting to enjoy my new house :)

We finally have an offer on a house. We decided to back out of the short sale because it was taking so long and have found something that we think will be a great fit for our family. Inspection and appraisal are done, now just waiting for closing around mid November...woohoo!
