Princess Bailey

We bought Bailey this pretty princess dress before she was born and she finally was able to wear it today. Everyone at church said that she looked like a fairy princess, although she threw up in it twice and kinda smelled like barf. Oh well!

Bailey's eating solids

For the past few weeks, Bailey has been eating solid foods, not just baby food, but big people food also. She has no teeth, but sucks on things until she can swallow them. So we decided it was time to put her in a high chair. The first day we did, she fell asleep with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in her mouth. The Dr. said that at 5 months should should just start eating solid baby food but not to rush. I guess she thinks she is older because she acts like she is always starving and wants to eat what everybody else is, so we let her ( to some extent)

So we found out today that some of the best things to keep Bailey occupied, are so simple. She got a hold of a bag of popcorn and entertained herself for half an hour. Thank goodness for simple pleasures.

American Idol

Last night I (Melissa) went with my mom to the American Idol tour concert (Trent had to stay home with Bailey.) It was so awesome and I'm so proud of the 2 LDS singers- Brooke and David A. They were so awesome and the show was great. I'm sorry for all you David Cook fans, but David A. has a WAY better voice when you see the show live. And since today is the 4th of July...Happy Birthday America, We love you!!!!!

Happy 4th

Hope everyone has a fun and safe 4th of July. We will be having a family BBQ and watching the fireworks here in California.

Bailey is a big Girl!

July 6th will be Bailey's 5 month Birthday. She is growing so fast. She is 90th percentile for her height and 75th for her weight. She is such a doll and getting more fun everyday.
