We're in Utah
We eventually made it to Utah. It took us about 12 hours one day (to get to Mesquite) and 5 hours the next to make it to Orem. Traffic was really thick going into Vegas and we were only going about 25 mph the whole way, so it took way longer than expected. Add a crying baby on top of that and it almost doubled the trip time. We made it with no weather problems, but there was snow from Vegas up. Orem is so beautiful with lots and lots of snow. We are staying with Trent's family and having a great time so far!

Great grandparents
First ticket
This weekend we went to visit my grandparents on the coast. About half way there, I was passed by a CHP (Highway Patrol) and after looking in the rearview mirror and seeing him do a U turn, I ask...what's the speedlimit? I thought it was 65, but it was 55 and I was doing 75! Dang, yes he pulled me over and gave me my first speeding ticket. He was pretty nice and wrote down that I was only going 65 so the ticket would be cheaper (instead of 75 which was 20 miles over)Other than that, we had a good time visiting both Grandparents (Davis and Parsons) It was a quick trip before Christmas, now we're back!

Christmas Vacation
I feel like a teenager again, getting out of school for Christmas break and getting excited about Christmas. Today was my last day of the semester so I don't have to teach again until Jan 12th. It will be so nice to relax (not that I work much anyways) but it will be nice to not wake up early 3 times a week and to not have to get lesson plans together. I am so extremely excited about our Utah trip after Chritmas and seeing the Campbell side. FUN FUN FUN!!!!

Our little elf
Tonight Trent had to work mandatory overtime, so I decided to go to Madera's Ward Party. Bailey had a good time and was happy to be with grandpa and grandma Davis (they really spoil her) Next week she will get to visit Grandpa and Grandma Campbell and all her cousins and aunts/uncles that she has never met before. She is going to have a great time playing with all the kids (and hopefully there will be snow when we get there!)
