Davis family reunion 2017
This was the 1st time our family did a reunion. We rented a huge cabin in Jackson California for a few days. My parents, Matt, Jeff, Casey and all our families attended. It was very hot, but we had a lot of fun swimming, playing and doing our evening devotionals.
All the grandkids
On a treasure hunt looking for gold
swimming in the weird poll/pond
Nick and Aaron
Matt playing with the owner's dog that stayed with our family the whole weekend
We had a great time and are looking forward to the next one in 2 years.

NICU Harvest Party
The hospital where the babies stayed when they were tiny has a NICU Harvest Party each year. All the babies who stayed in the NICU get to see the doctors and nurses who helped them. It ios si much fun for the whole family. They have a carnival, cookie decorating, crafts, a bunch of gifts they give away and treats.
This year the babies went as a lion and a leopard. Bailey was a cat and Nick wanted to be a ghostbuster.

Happy 4th of July!
I can't believe it is already July. This summer is flying by. We headed out to the God and Country firework show last Wednesday and enjoyed the evening watching fireworks with my parents and some friends. Bailey and Nick love playing with all the kids until the fireworks show started around 10pm.
Then for the 4th we headed to Melba with my mom (Trent and Jackson stayed home) and watched their parade. The kids got so much candy thrown at them that it was like Halloween. If you want to see how exciting a melba, ID parade is, here are the highlights....
We headed back to my moms for a BBQ lunch with cousins. Maddie loves sitting on grandpas lap and sharing his food (especially if it is sweet)
Then we headed back to Star to join more friends for the City fireworks show. Nick loved rolling down the hill and they both love playing with their friends all evening. It was also chilly that evening so we huddled under the blankets for the show.... I love Idaho weather.
(Jackson missed out on most of the festivities because he doesn't like a lot of noise so Trent stayed with him most of the day)

(Bailey and her friend Carson fishing at out neighborhood pond below)
We had such a wonderful 4th celebrating our freedom with friends and family. We love our country and grateful for all those who have served to help protect it. Happy 4th everyone.

New house pictures
When we first moved in, my aunt asked to post pictures to see the inside. By the time we were unpacked, the house was always a mess. Here are a few pictures of the rooms when they are semi clean...
The kitchen after we painted the cabinets white
Dining room that has a fireplace that goes to the front room also
Living room
Entry way leading to the living room
Office that is off the entry way (ignore Charlie on the couch)
Madison's room
Jackson's room is in my closet for now until he doesn't wake up his sister during the night
Master shower
Weird claw foot tub
This is from the Master bedroom looking into the bathroom and closet at the end. The double doors to the right is Trents closet
Notice there are no pictures of the Master and Nick and Bailey's rooms? Thats because they are usually pretty cluttered with clothes. I will post them as we get them organized and clean.

Bailey's Baptism
Bailey turned 8 on Saturday Feb 6th and was able to be baptized the same day. She already had a birthday party the night before, but she was more excited for her Baptism Day with all her family and friends. Here she is with her daddy before they left for the church.
Dressed all in white
Bailey had lots of family and friends come support her.....Grandpa and Grandma Campbell and cousin Kaizlynn came from Utah, The Bayleys (her cousins), Uncle Matt, Brandy, Aaron & Sunny and our friends the Belnap family.
Bishop Perkins and Sunny were there for the confirmation also.
Brother Snooks from the Bishopric talked about Bailey and what a sweet girl she is
Then afterwards everybody came to our house to celebrate the occasion and eat lots of yummy food and treats. Grandpa Campbell is fixing himself a delicious plate of Nachos!
And Grandpa Davis seemed to be enjoying the party too
Bailey has so many people who love her and was so grateful for everyone who made her birthday/baptism day special.
